Community Engagement

RACE for Equity pioneers a philosophy of data-driven decision making to address systemic inequities through culturally responsive strategies that cater to the unique history and values of the populations we serve. Not only do we use evidence-based practices to guide our results-oriented approach, but we also advocate for methods of outreach designed to meaningfully engage communities throughout the collaborative process.

Compassion Centered Community Engagement

RACE for Equity supports community engaged collaborations that are guided by the lived experiences of the people we serve. We advocate for strength-based community development by acknowledging and incorporating the assets existing within communities, using evidence-based practices to facilitate strategic planning, and designing inclusive collaborations to amplify the voices of community members.

Youth Engagement

Youth offer valuable insights and need to be meaningfully included as key stakeholders throughout the collaborative process. At RACE for Equity, we provide creative and engaging methods to amplify youth voice, as well as technical training to organizations and agencies to foster an inclusive space for youth to be heard.

Family Engagement

RACE for Equity provides technical training and assistance to our clients when facilitating meetings with their family partners, fostering an equitable collaboration guided by mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation. Acknowledging and incorporating the valuable perspectives and assets that families offer leads to a long-lasting partnership that benefits communities as a whole.

Resident Engagement

RACE for Equity collaborates with various organizations across multiple systems when addressing the inequities community members with behavioral and/or mental health needs endure. Creating a welcoming and inclusive space for these individuals to authentically discuss their lived experience supports meaningful engagement in the design and implementation of services, programs, and/or policies aimed to improve their quality of life.

Faith-Based Engagement

RACE for Equity provides church leaders with the technical training and assistance to meaningfully engage with their communities both inside and outside of religious institutions. We facilitate collaborations between followers from diverse religious backgrounds to support strategic planning that incorporates unique perspectives into the needs, values, and context of the community.
